ADMINISTRATOR – COMMUNITY SERVICES
Salary: £20,491 - £23,494 per annum, pro-rata
Hours: 30 per week
Contract: Fixed-Term – 6 months
Our community services team provide a wide range of quality services to support older residents of the borough to live independently at home and remain active. These services are delivered through community transport, meals at home, social prescribing and many other schemes and services that support residents to improve their overall wellbeing.
We are looking for an effective administrator with demonstrable experience and excellent organisation skills to support the community services team and day to day delivery of services.
You will co-ordinate the processing of invoices for individuals and organisations accessing community transport, meals at home, community alarm, day centre and other services. Working with customers, you will follow up outstanding payments and address payment issues to reach solutions around debt recovery.
With a positive and approachable manner you will have the ability to form good relationships with customers and other stakeholders and have experience of maintaining financial records and co-ordinating invoices, billing and payments.
Using a methodical approach, you will have the ability to work independently to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer information whilst having the ability to tailor communication style as appropriate, with empathy and sensitivity as required.
