Salary range £40,673 - £45,500 (pro-rata if applicable)
Surrey Heath Borough Council are looking to recruit a Solicitor to help in our Legal Services Team based in Camberley.
You will work under the general guidance of one of the Principal Solicitors in the team with responsibility for a wide range of non-contentious matters including asset management work relating to the Council’s investment property portfolio, commercial contracts and planning matters as well as providing advice on Council matters.
This role is to replace a solicitor leaving the Council, so we are looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, takes responsibility for planning their workload to ensure deadlines are met, but actively participates in the team and is confident on tackling a variety of matters. Local Government knowledge and experience would be advantageous.
