We are seeking to recruit a caseworker with parking enforcement knowledge. You will be part of a bigger Customer and Case team. You will contribute to the achievement of quality customer care, including providing excellent customer service to our residents using your detailed knowledge of parking and traffic enforcement.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Provide advice to customers on the telephone and through correspondence.
- Help process representations and appeals of Penalty Charge Notices (PCN)
- Liaison with the civil enforcement team
- Assisting with the issue of parking permits for our control zones
- An essential part of the role is to keep up-to-date with knowledge of the legal framework surrounding parking and traffic enforcement including Government guidelines and statistical returns.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- A proactive approach, with strong administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with people.
- Conscientious attitude and attention to detail.
- A good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- IT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with the ability to take the initiative.

This role attracts a salary of £22,031 - £36,004 per annum and an annual leave entitlement of 22 days plus bank holidays.
Please note this role is a multi-grade role, salary offers are usually made at the lower grade, allowing for progression.
