There is a new initiative to develop 5 posts across Surrey to lead on supporting people who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness and who have mental health needs. We are currently advertising for a post based in Epsom and Ewell covering Mid-Surrey. As this is an area based role your office base is negotiable to the area you will cover.

This role provides an opportunity to work with disadvantaged individuals with mental health issues who may be struggling to engage with housing and benefits services. You will provide a social care service to the residents of Surrey in line with the Care Act, contributing to and completing proportionate Adult Social Care Assessments as required. This is an unqualified care post at Senior Social Care Assistant level and should appeal to individuals already working as social care assistant or in STR/healthcare assistant roles in the health and social care space.
