The starting salary for this role is £27,991 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.
Although you will be based at Quadrant Court, Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey GU22 7QQ, there is flexibility to work flexibly/agilely across Surrey.
The County is committed to remote working meaning you aren't required in the office 5 days a week. We care about how you work rather than where you work; the ability to deliver rather than the location. There will be service delivery needs that will require attending offices and visiting providers when necessary.
About the Team
This is an exciting opportunity to join the newly formed Joint Brokerage Team which is part of the Adult Social Care Commissioning function.
The Administration and Systems Team will be managing the systems we use to receive referrals and availability from the market, and will manage the information that is sent and received from the provider market.
The team will manage the back-office functions to allow effective and efficient sourcing of services. This will include the issuing of contracts and management of the communications with the provider market.
About the Role
The position will be required to ensure the appropriate and accurate contract documentation for every service sourced by the Joint Brokerage Team is completed, issued and recorded.
You will be required to offer guidance to frontline staff and the Brokerage teams on the Adults Social Care Terms and Conditions and refer any concerns or issues to the relevant Commissioner or Contract Manager.
As well as this, you may be required to create summary outputs from the systems and report on the levels of activity.
You will be highly organised, have a good eye for detail and accuracy in written communications. You will need to take responsibility, use initiative and be comfortable in managing your own priorities within the set procedures and processes.
Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are essential. You will have a good understanding of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Please note that there may be an occasional requirement to work some weekends on a rota basis, but this will form part of your 36 hours per week.
At Surrey, our values and behaviours are just as important as our skills and abilities. They shape who we are as an organisation. Find out more about the values we follow.
