The starting salary for this role is £45,734 per annum for a 36 hour working week.

The Surrey IT & Digital Strategy and Engagement team is looking to recruit an IT Business Partner to join a team of Digital, Agile and Engagement professionals. The IT Business Partner will build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across the Council and its partners. The successful candidate will manage their own portfolio of services and represent their business needs within IT and act as a primary IT representative (point of contact for) to the business.
The IT Business Partner will operate at a strategic level, ensuring customer needs and their business drivers are fully understood and incorporated into all aspects of business and service planning. The role will also identify opportunities to extend IT and digital capabilities and support the adoption of technologies by our services. We’re looking for people who have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and able to build strong relationships at all levels of the business.
The team are constantly looking at ways of continuously improving, to ensure a robust engagement and governance framework and you will be expected to input and help shape it. You will demonstrate strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, experience of engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders and working in a project environment, preferably but not limited to, gained in the technology and/or digital services field in the public sector.
