Our Cobham Link programme provides support to those with mild to moderate learning disabilities and Autism. The group is involved with a variety of activities such as cooking, allotment gardening, choir, drama, outing groups and iPad training.
As you would imagine being part of the support network of Cobham Link, requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as dedication, enthusiasm and energy.
What is special about this role, is that you will be able to help develop and implement a programme to meet the physical, emotional and personal needs of those in our group with a low to moderate learning disability and Autism. What you do will make a real difference to people’s lives!
About you
You will be creative, committed and enthusiastic. You will have,
- Proven experience of working with people with a learning disability
- Knowledge of community care and the Cobham Link Service
- The ability to produce reports and maintain social care records.
- To be creative, to look at innovative personalised activity
- A good standard of education
