Twelve15 is a trading department of Surrey County Council, delivering traded services in education and other settings. For over 70 years our service has been providing healthy, nutritious, and well-balanced meals to pupils, students and adults as well as offering a specialist service maintaining gym, sports and design technology equipment. To help us continue to transform with the times we have developed some ambitious plans for the future including a redesign of our organisation which is now complete and will create a more outward facing, ‘one team’ approach that supports and recognises talent, provides opportunity and drives excellent product and services to our clients and customers.
Our Vision and Mission, which is outlined below, form the bedrock upon which the redesign program will evolve with one underlying aim is for the customer to be at the very heart of the Twelve15 service provision.
- Our vision: We want to live in a world where our Planet is looked after and the people living on it have healthy bodies and minds
- Our mission: To make a positive difference in school dining and to be the bedrock of school services
Our newly redesigned workforce is integral to achieving our aims and ambitions for the future. As such, we have 2 new openings for highly experienced leaders to complete our Senior Leadership Team. Your ability to drive our vision and mission through a ‘one team’ approach creating a culture of collaboration and strong partnership that places the customer front and centre of everything we do is crucial to our success. Applicants who demonstrate this ability will be considered irrespective of whether they are experienced in this specific area of the hospitality industry. It is the strength of your leadership capabilities and transferable talent that is relevant to these opportunities.
- Head of Commercial: This role will have specific responsibility for the entirety of the commercial performance driving success in retention and growth
- Head of Operations: This role will have specific responsibility for the entirety of the Operational Delivery function with an absolute focus on providing a first-class experience for our customers
As a leadership team you will work collaboratively with your peers focussing on holistic and integrated priorities agreed through challenge, continuous improvement and collaborative consensus. We are therefore looking for people who are able to:
Provide professional leadership - ability to develop and implement the vision of the service and incorporate that vision into the core values demonstrating openness to different ways of working and the ability to recognise and understand forces outside the organisation
Enhance Performance - continuously seeking to improve performance by strengthening skills and competence and fostering a strong culture of standards and accountability enabling the Twelve15 team to deliver a first-class customer experience
Driving a culture where delivering exceptional customer service is the norm – ability to embed the Twelve15 people strategy and adopting a one team approach to delivery, fostering a work environment that encourages creative thinking and the ability to maintain focus, intensity and persistence, even under adversity.
