Administration Officer (Homelink)
The Health and Wellbeing Team work with elderly, disabled and vulnerable residents in Woking, to enable them to maintain their independence at home in reasonable security, safety and comfort.
You will be part of a successful and busy team that administers the Handyperson scheme across North West Surrey, including taking enquiries, booking appointments, stock control and updating completed jobs. You will assist with organization of major and minor adaptations via the Disabled Facilities Grant scheme as well as supporting your colleagues in the wider Health and Wellbeing team which includes Telecare, Meals Service, Social Prescribing and Independent Support. Other administration duties will include maintaining accurate records, producing reports on spend and activity, processing of invoices and payments and liaising with contractors, voluntary and statutory agencies.

DBS Check
Woking Borough Council takes a robust approach to thoroughly checking anyone who has applied to work with vulnerable groups including children.
As this job involves contact with vulnerable groups, successful applicants will be required to obtain a Disclosure Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Assistance will be given by the Council and further details can be found in the job pack.
