Control Centre Operator
An opportunity for a Control Centre Operator has arisen within our award winning Safer Runnymede team based in Addlestone, Surrey.
Working on a shift rota which includes early, lates, nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays, you will be monitoring CCTV cameras and responding to calls from the elderly or vulnerable on the “Careline” Community Telecare System. You will also act as a first point of contact for all Borough related issues. This is a rewarding job with great potential for job satisfaction.
We are looking for somebody with considerable experience of working with the public in either a customer services or control centre environment. You should have excellent observational and communication skills together with a caring and patient approach. Current S.I.A Licence, experience of Telecare and/or liaison with the police and have good local knowledge will be advantageous.
Full training on all systems will be given.
The successful applicant will be subject to NPPV2 (Surrey Police) vetting process. Appointment is subject to successful vetting by Surrey Police – please be advised this process can take up to 12 weeks.
