Civic Support and Events Officer
Surrey Heath Borough Council are seeking a professional and highly organised individual for the role of Civic Support & Events Officer to provide administrative support to the Mayor and to organise key civic events.
Providing a full, high quality administrative service, you will liaise with internal and external clients at all levels, dealing effectively with telephone and personal enquiries and diary management. You will also set up, manage, attend and take minutes of relevant meetings, producing reports as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will have sufficient experience of delivering quality service in a business support role. Excellent communication and administrative skills are essential, together with the ability to deal appropriately with sensitive/confidential issues. You will be proficient in the use of office administration processes and systems and be able to work with minimum supervision.
You will have a positive, problem-solving and flexible approach to work, as well as the ability to work effectively in a busy environment and be able to prioritise your workload. There will be requirement to work occasional evenings or weekends as part of this role.
