Communications & Digital Officer
Come and work with us…it’s a short-term contract but you will enjoy everyday and learn lots. Don’t worry if you have never worked in Local Government, I was in banking comms before I joined! What we need is your writing skills, as well as your ability to take a brief and work up communications quickly but in an engaging way.
I always say we do authentic communications at Elmbridge. We talk to people as people. That’s what you will do, on a range of subjects important to our Elmbridge community – check out our Elmbridge News website to show you the range: https://news.elmbridge.gov.uk/
We believe in a thriving and sustainable Elmbridge and all our work contributes to that, as will you. We also have a new website coming in 2023 and we will need you to support with content writing on that. Writing will be important – writing reports, statements, release, news articles, social content and web content.
Have a read through the job description and person specification, it is important you cover all aspects within your CV and covering statement.
