At Epsom & Ewell, we aspire to deliver high quality services to our residents. We might be small, but we have big plans to serve our population of 80,000 residents. We are investing in our future, increasing strategic capacity, and exploring new ways of working.
Our long-term vision for the Borough tells us where we want to be and how we’re going to get there. This role will support delivering our vision and the aspirations of local people, as well as driving forward key deliverables from our Four Year Plan.
The focus of this role will be to contribute to the delivery of good corporate governance, supporting the timely collation of data, preparing reports on performance management, preparing statistical information / data and summaries, researching for potential initiatives, and working on key corporate projects to support data driven decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively. You need to be organised, accurate and able to work independently and as a team whilst managing your workload and priorities.
You must have a sound understanding of analysing and reporting on trends in data and experience working in a customer focussed environment, preferably within a local authority. You will have experience of producing performance information for your team, senior management, and committees / strategic leaders.
In return you will benefit from 24 days annual leave (rising to 29 after 5 years’ service), subsidised gym membership and car parking, payment of professional fees, entitlement to join the local government pension scheme, and non-contributory life assurance.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a professional and committed team and we look forward to receiving your application. For further details please contact the recruiting manager, Will Mace, at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 01372 732154.
