Principal Finance Officer
The starting salary for this full-time, permanent position is £43,923 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Principal Finance Officer to join our Corporate Finance Team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our budget and service planning process, providing essential financial support and expertise.
As a Principal Finance Officer you will play a pivotal role in our budget and service planning process. You will manage and monitor budgets and ensure the timely closure of accounts for our Directorates and select charity accounts.
Working alongside our Corporate Finance Team, your contributions will directly impact the quality and integrity of our financial data and systems, driving continuous improvement across the service. You will also play a critical part in the creation of our annual accounts and strive to achieve an unqualified opinion, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.

- Experience of working within a financial management environment
- A knowledge and understanding of public sector accounting best practice
- AAT qualified or equivalent level of experience
